Each Shawl Robe is handmade in Los Angeles by skilled tailors and seamstresses who take pride in crafting robes made just for you. Nothing is off the rack. Every robe is custom made in the USA, with inclusive sizing ranging from petite to plus size.
Because our robes are made to order, production time is approximately 4–6 weeks, not including transit time — a reflection of the care, precision, and craftsmanship that define every Robeworks robe.

Choose options
Robeworks bath robes are built to last, and our combination of microfiber and terry cloth means that you won't have a robe that shrinks over time. Some customers have had their robes for over 20 years without replacing them, and have kept them wearable and fresh due to great care.
All Robeworks robes are machine washable. Wash in cold cycle using mild detergent and dry on Permanent Press. Remove promptly. We suggest removing belts from their carriers before laundering.

At Robeworks, we take embroidery seriously. It truly is your robe when we make it.
Our monogramming options are available on every robe we own. We have a character limit of 12 letters and numbers for each order. If you want to get more detailed or have a specific request, we do offer logo creation and more detailed options, and an email here would be the best way to start that process.
Our standard monogram format follows a first, middle, last name sequence. Please enter your initials, name, or number sequence exactly as you’d like it to appear on your robe. For first names, please put the whole name in the monogram space.
For example, in our standard embroidery style: Mia Ryan Lane would be embroidered as M R L.

Robeworks are uni-sex for men and women and generously sized from extra small to extra large.
Picking your bathrobe size follows with your jacket size, and we have given the lengths of our robes in order to make it easier to understand how long the robe will really sit on your body. Please measure from your shoulder to replicate the experience.
The lengths of our Classic, Shawl, and Hooded bathrobes are as follows:

Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout. We are working to have duties applied at checkout, but until then, they will be paid upon delivery. We run discounts and promotions all year, so stay tuned for exclusive deals.
Your robe is 100% handmade after your order is placed, which means a 4-6 week timeline for creation. If embroidery is required, we can expect 3-5 more business days until shipment. We ship using UPS, and USA delivery is approximately 5-7 days. Overseas deliveries can take betweeen 7-16 days. Please refer to your confirmation and tracking emails when they are sent.
Unlike mass-produced robes, ours are made to order using top-tier microfiber and terry cloth. There are no short cuts taken to make the robe cheaper. Every stitch is applied by a real human in the USA, and every robe is started when your order is placed.
Both. The Shawl Robe is a unisex bathrobe designed in inclusive sizing from extra small through extra large. It's our most popular men's bathrobe and women's bathrobe in a single design. Sizing follows your jacket size, with full coverage and a generous fit through the chest and shoulders. For taller customers, our Extra Large sits at 55.5" long.
Yes! That's exactly how it's designed. The microfiber and terry cloth fabric is highly absorbent, making it ideal as a shower robe or post-pool / hot tub robe. The shawl silhouette and full coverage also make it work beautifully as a dressing gown for everyday wear at home.

I'm the owner of one of your robes that I received as a gift almost 15 years ago and for 15 years it has been my favorite thing to wear around the house. My oldest brother gifted the hooded black on black, embroidered robe to all of us siblings for Christmas after wearing one at I believe in intercontinental hotel. After almost 15 years it's finally starting to look pretty worn from various skin care products etc. so I've ordered the shawl style one in light pink.
I have lived in this cozy comfortable robe over the course of these 15 years through multiple health struggles, including times where I would wear it for a week straight because my skin was too sensitive to wear clothes with bands and I was too fatigued to put effort into actual clothes. Its almost like a child's favorite bear or blanket. Having something that I could wrap around me when I felt so lost in my health has a value I can not but a $ amount on.
When I've been away, the first thing I want to do is get home and change into my robe and just be comfortable.
Also- I washed and dried this like it was a towel. I didnt baby it, I washed it in HOT water and dried it on high and to this day it doesn't have a single loose thread.
