Bathrobe fabric and materials

What is microfiber?

Our own exclusive microfiber is ultra fine, lightweight, and densely woven together to create depth and body. The filaments are half the diameter of a strand of silk and one hundred times finer than the human hair. Because microfibers are so fine, many fibers can be tightly packed together, making deeper, richer and brighter colors. Silky and lightweight, it has a luxurious drape allowing the fabric to flow freely and still possess body. Robeworks uses microfiber for the outer shell of our bathrobes to ensure a great experience.

What is terrycloth?

Terrycloth is a highly absorbent fabric defined by its looped pile construction, where thousands of small loops are woven into the surface of the fabric. These loops dramatically increase surface area, allowing terrycloth to absorb moisture efficiently, which is why it’s commonly used for towels and bathrobes. In luxury bathrobes, high-quality terrycloth feels plush and soft against the skin while remaining durable enough to withstand frequent washing. At its best, terrycloth provides the ideal balance of absorbency, comfort, and longevity, making it the gold standard for bathrobes designed to be worn immediately after bathing or swimming. Robeworks bathrobes use terry cloth for our interior lining.

What are the washing instructions?

All Robeworks robes are machine washable. Wash in cold cycle using mild detergent and dry on Permanent Press. Remove promptly. We suggest removing belts from their carriers before laundering.
